Adult (18+) beginners through advanced welcome. Each student will be working on
their own project in the medium of their choice - oil, alkyd oil,
watercolor or acrylic. Areas of study will be drawing, composition,
tone values, color mixing, and working with photography. The camera is
a great tool if used correctly. Fred's unique teaching style is
individually based to help each student develop his or her own style
to become more confident in their favorite medium. Students will be
instructed in a fun relaxed atmosphere. Bring your photographic
references such as landscape, cityscape, or favorite photos from your
travels. Fred will also teach portrait painting from photos. For
workshops (2 or 3 day), have your drawing complete and be ready to
paint. Fred will give demos and check your drawing.
